Visual character customization is new to Diablo Gold the series, but we have preset characters to the demonstration with two appearances and a couple of skills chosen for us.
I only played her hotkey abilities for the hell of it, but I had fun dodging ranged attacks and targeting large groups with Meteor and Blizzard. Turning into"lightning incarnate" with Conduit was enjoyable for displaying to the 2 players I encountered on the street.
The Druid, who yields from Diablo 2, was fun. His mouse-bound skills temporarily transform him into a werewolf or werebear as he attacks, and the latter slams his paws to the ground to gore huge lumps of enemies (it is kind of cute, in a bloody way). I was a little disappointed there's no Hemlock Grove-like transformation--it instant--but I like how huge the bear shape feels. Walking up to a horde of ghouls then dashing as a fur projectile using the Trample ability into them was enjoyable for the entire 20 minutes. I kind of wish the Druid kind were smaller to produce the transformation more striking.
There are currently no plans for the sort of market Diablo 3 -- although diablo IV will be online-only again -- let's hope for no Error 37 now. There'll be participant trading and guilds, but how that'll all work isn't nailed down. PvP was planned from the start. The quality of life improvements Diablo 3 are there, and then obtaining a Google Maps-like guideline about the minimap and placing the map with waypoints is great. The spacebar racing is fine, too--it's type to include a way to escape , if you're going to include attacks that are telegraphed.
Along with the grimier art, Diablo IV is a very'we've heard your feedback' match, though with some concessions for modernity, in and replies about in-game monetization have been https://www.voidk.com/ obscure. I can see making links to strangers, braving PvP zones, and construction guilds. I can see it distracting from the feeling of loneliness I sometimes enjoy in Diablo games. Perhaps there'll be a means to turn off participant encounters (I will ask).
