I find that if I have not done mining for some time

  • I find that if I have not done mining for some time (because I had been working on a few of those other abilities ), that the first few rocks I mine are extremely slow. After the first few stones, I get back to OSRS gold collecting ores at the typical speed... Same thing with all woodcutting (the first few logs require an unusually long time to obtain, but then the rate at which I purchase logs extends back to normal), and same thing with fishing gear.

Query #1) Has anyone else noticed the same thing? Where if you have not trained a skill in a little time, your personality is really"rusty" at the skill to start, but goes back to normal pace after the first couple of ores/logs/fish?

Query #2) Is there a Runescape"rusty skill" subprogram, in which if you have not trained a skill in just a little while, your character will probably be rather slow at the ability for the first little bit, until your resource gathering skill rate returns to normal, and can be only determined by your ability level and the kind of pickaxe/hatchet you're using?

You are just using it wrong. Magic, quite simply, is not to be used just like Range and Melee is. Range and Melee can only hit one goal at a time, whilst magical (using Ancients) can reach multiple targets at the same time. To show similarity, I will use a metaphor. Magic is like a real-life nuclear bomb. You wouldn't use a nuke as if you would utilize an Ak-47, now do you? No, nukes are used to cheap RS gold strike many things at the same time, and obliterate all of them, while an Ak-47 is made to take out individuals.
