It stings a bit, but the name of WOW TBC Gold this main post also made me instantly think of Bungie, with Destiny 2. Them committing to thing sunsetting for so long as they did... especially with the arrogance, stating that it's the right thing to do, despite all the valid criticism about it. They did not care about all of the participant time spent grinding for their desired rolls, watching their items power-capped, then having to re-grind the specific same rolls and weapon, only with a fresh power cap. They did not really make the new drops different in any meaningful manner like sunsetting was supposed to do.

It had been an engineered waste of time. Like the title, it is possible to argue they were totally incompetent, they wanted the boosted player time, or heck, maybe it is not black and white - they were okay understanding that their incompetence rewarded them, therefore they dragged their feet on addressing it until more than a year after.

Apart from shitty decisions and systems... It functions, the game works and contains a complete world constructed already. That is a whole lot more than we can say about a lot of mmos already. For the most part there aren't any game breaking issues that prevent a large section of the player base from enjoying .

WoW also offers the submerged cost fallacy attached to it. Everyone put in 20k hours to the game feels connected to it and it has to get better. . Right? Those 20k hours were not for nothing. . Right?

I feel like the cost of creating the mmo genre is going to cheap Burning Crusade Classic Gold be almost impossible to enter without previous foundation.
