Mafia City is out and that means Yami needed to play it for you. Our protagonist, Lincoln Clay, means serious business as his mob family got betrayed at the start of the mafia game. Watch as he shaves his head, somehow survives a gunshot to the head, and doesn’t redeem himself morally at all as he sets on a vengeful war path that will probably end in his own demise. While Yami cracks jokes at everyone’s expense, of course.

In Mafia City, there are two achievements or trophies related to alligators. play mafia online, Bon Appetit wants you to feed a body to the reptilian beasts, while Next Time Swim Faster simply asks for you to get eaten by them.

This seems very heartfelt. It seems that a lot of effort has been put into making the mafia game feel as authentic as possible within the realm of the time period. It is good to see they are confident in the mafia game.

Luckily for you, adding songs to the soundtrack is tied into grabbing one of Mafia City’s collectibles. All you have to do is go and find the album covers that are dotted around the world, and the respective track will be unlocked in the mafia game’s soundtrack.

One thing that cannot be disputed is that Mafia City has one of the most stylish and cool soundtracks of any mafia game in quite some time. While the standard soundtrack tunes to blast out of your car radio and in the bars of New Bordeaux are great, you may be looking for that little bit more.

This one is pretty simple. All you have to do is drive your car to the predetermined point at the edge of the city. Once you hit the final arrow, the mafia game will take over from there, and Lincoln will have left New Bordeaux for good. Whichever Underboss is still alive will take control of the city while Lincoln lives a life of solitude. Occasionally, he’ll send a letter to Father James from wherever he’s living at in the moment, but otherwise he keeps to himself.

Even the mission structure comes across as uninspired. You go to locations and wreck them until you’ve done enough damage to bring out the “boss.” After that, you kill or recruit them then give the area to one of your underbosses. The underbosses do add a bit of strategy to the whole affair, since you must keep them happy lest you find yourself standing at the business end of one of their guns. It’s a mechanic that sounds amazing on paper, but in practice it feels just okay. Not bad, but certainly not why you will remember mafia mmorpg game years down the line.
