From the vanilla players needing it to be created woW Classic would NEVER, EVER, be realized. There is absolutely no reason to appeal to gamers of this time when WoW Classic was made from the number of players playing with servers and expressing their opinions to make it official. And those people and classic servers played vanilla, aka HOW IT WAS EXACTLY BACK THEN. So don't give me that shit about still having to.l cater to the current casuals. Cause that makes no sense and is possibly current WoW Classic is on a decline, since they attempt to please everybody.
It depends on if there is any advantage. It's possible that changes like those to water can make it so players may have an easier time viewing other players that are attempting to sneak below the surface. (I don't have evidence to back this up, I'm only listing it as a possibility). Instead, changing the ground clutter might mean that a gnome running around with noggenfogger believes he's hidden when someone with various settings doesn't see him as hidden.If it was purely aesthetic, I'd agree, but there are times when using a slightly different view can impact things. I understand in some FPS games I turn graphics details that are certain way down so that wow classic gold I have less clutter.
