Naga Azshara raid question: Both the question and response are dumb in this movie, Blizzard was NOT experimenting where to put Dark Portal, thats a composed lie/false advice by the wow classic gold John Staats guy (no idea if he made this one up since he forgot matters or because he just wants attention ),
Black Portal model was used as a placeholder for all instanced dungeon portals, you had same placeholder Dark Portal matter in Scholomance, Scarlet Monastery, Dead Mines, Wailing Caverns etc . The Dark Portal placeholder in Azshara was prob meant to get a scrapped naga themed raid or for BFD dungeon however for some reason Blizzard moved it to Ashenvale before launch (Many dungeon and raid designs were scrapped before launching and forced their return in later expansions like TBC/Wotlk).
Fishing question: The answer is untrue, fishing had been added because programmer's girlfriend asked him to bring a fishing for a prof for a way to buy wow classic gold waste time before raid/WoW Classic, the programmer turned it into a minigame therefore it wouldnt be so boring, later on recipes regarding fish were gradually added into other profs, it had nothing to do with Blizzard being afraid of WoW Classic Gold farmers since WoW Classic Gold farmers werent even a major difficulty in vanilla, it just turned into a famous term and a problem in TBC.
