No hint commented. It's Ankama. As always, they'll pretend Dofus Kamas that the launcher is better, despite the Dofus players stating it isn't. Yeah, listen to your self instead of the veterans that know Dofus sport incomparably better than you do. All it might take is admitting an honest mistake and moving back to the launcher before the new one is actually completed, not the pitiful excuse for a launcher we're stuck with now. No one minds change, it's just that none of us enjoy being forced to switch to an inferior launcher which was rushed into life and pushed down our throats.Swallow your self, acknowledge the mistake, let us use the old launcher before the necessary functions on the new one are correctly implemented. It's not hard to admit a mistake and move a step back.
The Ankama Launcher is slow to launch. The Uplauncher came up and boom you are launching clients prepared to go. The Ankama Launcher is slow to boot up and generally feels fun to navigate. I have also had it crash on me once during regular surfing, with no error message or anything... The process only died but it was at a completely random moment and only once. This is all compounded by the fact that the Dofus client itself takes ten thousand years to start these days. I thought that was altered in a recent update, but I have not felt anything get in the previous year.
Honestly I feel like creating your own launcher ecosystem is not the best use of your team's resources.Steam exists, already has your matches on ithas the built-in messaging and IM system that you're probably trying to make at this time, is frequently used by the majority of your own Dofus players currently, and provides numerous advertising opportunities to possible new Dofus players searching for this type of MMO experience.Well the Steam launcher will not even open Dofus today, thanks to that, so much for keeping things clean and in one spot. Ankama you should have learnt your lesson with the authenticator shizz that was stupid. This was not asked for by any one, nobody wants it. Why take that option away from us now, if you want to reach a larger audience by going with Steam?
The main reason I was not utilizing the launcher because the way memory leaks that are bad are handled, is causes my computer to crash. In comparison to anything to that I experienced, what you just forced me to endure, problem you're refering is a good deal worse. Everything you do is handled by the excuse"we can't have two launchers" but did you ever think of this before you created another launcher? The first is more polished, and that's not really an oppinion.
The one LOOKS polished. If someone had taken the time to finish one to Buy Kamas Dofus Retro and bugfix itwould have been good, but I guess that the Amanka way is simply to create two horrible spaghetti codes and then stare at them for quite a while like"Which one do you hate less?" Without considering the intensity of memory leakage.
